Joint Cambodia-Vietnam Border Run

The border is open and the beer is cold! Join Saigon H3 and Phnom Penh H3 for a weekend takeover of Tay Ninh. From midnight city runs to glamping in yurts at Mekong Camping and a Hangover Hike up Ba Den Mountain, this is a weekend you won't want to forget (even if the beer makes you try).

⏰ Transport Schedule:
  • Friday 16:00 - Main Bus leaves the Caravelle: Caravelle Hotel HCMC (Stopping at Bavet Border @ ~18:30)
  • Saturday 10:00 - Late Bus leaves the Caravelle: Direct to Mekong Camping.
  • Sunday 14:00 - Return Bus: Heading back to the Border and HCMC.
💰 Fee (All-inclusive: Bus, Beer, Food, Shirt, Yurts & Cable Car):
  • Full Weekend (Friday Arrival) - 2,300,000 VND (~$90)
  • Saturday Starter (Saturday Arrival) - 2,050,000 VND (~$80)
👟 Distance & Trails:
  • Friday Night: Short City Run finishing at Otter Brewing.
  • Saturday Main Hash: Run ~10km | Walk ~5km.
  • Sunday: The Hangover Hike up Ba Den Mountain (Cable car included!).
🌵 Shiggy Level: 1-3 (City Streets, Trails, and Mountain Terrain)
🍺 Beer:

Plenty of local craft beer on Friday, with a full-flow BBQ and circle on Saturday evening.

Introduction to Hashing

Welcome to Saigon Hash House Harriers! We’re a social group that welcomes Vietnamese, expats, and tourists of all ages and abilities to join us on running or walking trails in the countryside. It’s great fun, with the social aspect taken much more seriously than the running or walking! If you want to make new friends, explore the countryside, and finish the afternoon with drinks, then we’d love for you to join us! We meet most Sundays at 1:15pm at the Caravelle Hotel in District 1. The bus departs at 1:30 pm sharp. If you have any questions, please visit our Facebook page, or contact us. Otherwise, just show up with a sense of humour, a thirst for beer, and maybe a change of socks!

Extra Information

Run fees are VND 300.000 for Bus trips and VND 150.000 for City Runs.

Most Sundays, we travel to the Hash sites by bus. Our Hash bus departs from the Caravelle Hotel, Lam Son Square, District 1, at exactly 13:30. Aim to be there 15 minutes early or you may find that the bus has just left!

When we travel to Dong Nai province, the bus passes through District 2 and we pick up Hashers along the way. The pickup point is along the South side of the Hanoi Highway at the Bus stop near Estella. The bus will not wait for latecomers at these stops.
